These two programs were developed for Compuserve to enable different types of
computers to exchange pictures. The majority of GOOD pictures are done on
the Amiga. When the pictures are displayed on an Amiga you can very easily
tell if they were done on an IBM or MAC (the quality just is not there).
The program Giffy is used to display GIF (Graphic Interchange Format)
pictures and the program IFF2GIF is used to make GIF files from IFF files.
Note how much less disk space is used by GIF files. To display GIF files on
an IBM (EGA recommended) use the program CSHOW which is floating around in
the IBM section on many BBSs.
