- These two programs were developed for Compuserve to enable different types of
- computers to exchange pictures. The majority of GOOD pictures are done on
- the Amiga. When the pictures are displayed on an Amiga you can very easily
- tell if they were done on an IBM or MAC (the quality just is not there).
- The program Giffy is used to display GIF (Graphic Interchange Format)
- pictures and the program IFF2GIF is used to make GIF files from IFF files.
- Note how much less disk space is used by GIF files. To display GIF files on
- an IBM (EGA recommended) use the program CSHOW which is floating around in
- the IBM section on many BBSs.
